Empower Girls in Tech

 

Welcome to the vibrant and innovative world of the 100 Girls of Code Collegiate Chapter, where creativity meets technology in the realm of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.). Our chapter is a dynamic community of forward-thinking individuals with a passion for blending the arts with STEM disciplines, fostering a unique environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and exploration.


At the heart of our organization is a commitment to leveraging creative technology to push the boundaries of traditional disciplines. Our members, comprised of high school Juniors and Seniors from diverse academic backgrounds, united under the common goal of harnessing the power of S.T.E.A.M. to drive innovation and address complex challenges in today's rapidly evolving world.


 

What sets this chapter apart is its unwavering dedication to incorporating technology into artistic endeavors and vice versa. Our chapter serves as a hub for creative minds to converge, collaborate, and explore the intersections between technology and the arts. We host a variety of events, workshops, and projects that encourage members to experiment with cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D printing, robotics, and more.100 Girl of Code: Collegiate Chapter organizes regular hackathons, workshops, and events that challenge members to explore the intersections of S.T.E.A.M. domains. These events serve as a platform for collaboration, where students work together to tackle real-world problems through innovative solutions. These activities provide hands-on experiences that empower members to apply their skills in inventive ways, fostering a culture of constant learning and adaptation.


Our diverse range of projects reflects the organization's commitment to S.T.E.A.M.. From designing interactive installations that merge art and technology to creating immersive experiences that showcase the beauty of mathematical concepts, our members consistently push the boundaries of what is possible when creativity and technology intertwine.

In addition to our technical projects, the organization also emphasizes the importance of community outreach and education. We strive to inspire the next generation of innovators by organizing workshops and events in local schools, introducing students to the excitement of S.T.E.A.M., and encouraging them to explore the limitless possibilities within these fields.
